Second Life®: Remodeling Castle View…

In the Castle View Room With a View looking out of Piserchia towards Foyle Gully.

Looks like I’ve got the building bug in Second Life® lately.

Have been going to all the builds on and around Foyle Gully, straighting textures & prims that appear to have drifted.

It’s been over a year since I did any building on the castle lands. So I cleaned up, expanded the Castle View on  the region Piserchia which borders Foyle Gully.

This meant that I had to deal with two 16sqm plots left over from the ad farm days. You see Castle View is actually a product of buying up 16sqm ad farms with those annoying and sometimes pornographic spinning signs. So I opened two tickets and got that squared away. Now the parcel is complete and clear of ads. Thank you Lindens for your quick response.

It’s a simple room at the top of the tower, it’s white with green accents and free textures decorate the floor. I’ve made the walls inside transparent so that one may look out at the wonderful 360 degree view of sims as far as the eye can see.

Castle View as an early build of mine, done quick to deal with ugly ad farm usage. Through the serendipity of making the ad farms go away I created a room with a view just below the cloud level.

It is open to the public, it is a great place to watch one of SL’s sunsets or sunrises. Change the environment settings to create romantic lighting or just set it to midnight or just follow the sim’s natural cycles. Doesn’t matter. Visit by clicking on this link for Castle View. It’s free.
