I meet myself in Second Life®

The virtual world of Second Life® creates instances of serendipitous random occurrences that could not happen in real life.

Real life is known to virtualworldites as RL to separate it from VL or virtual life, we like to keep our realities straight.

Anyway, there are these times where one just stares amazed for a moment. Here’s a image taken in Second Life® of my main avatar and a clone for those times where I need to be in two places at once (something else that cannot be done in RL).

I was setting up my bodydouble in this shot by purchasing animations to bring her to life from The Plague, a store on the mainland Trumbull (69, 74, 280) run by Trixie Wexler.

Trixie is a long time neighbor of ours as her land borders on Foyle Gully as well as the Forever’s End castle stables which are actually located in Trumbull. My avatars are standing on pose platforms to try before we buy.

As I was stepping through the stand animations with both avatars, to save time, I hit this combination of poses that was just too good to pass up sharing.

Second Life® is also one of the few places in any reality that you can hug yourself with the right animation.
